Human Resources Administrator – Immediate Start

We are seeking a proactive Human Resources Administrator to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of HR administration, recruitment coordination, training support, and workforce planning in a fast-paced environment.

About Us:

De Goey Contractors (DGC) provides specialist services in fabrication, protective coating, process piping, manufacturing, and labour hire. Our experienced team supports a wide range of coal mining, terminal maintenance, and port maintenance projects with a strong focus on quality, safety, and performance.

The Role

This is an office-based position with an immediate start available. Reporting to the HR Team Leader, you will support day to day human resource operations.  

  • Provide day-to-day HR administrative support across recruitment, onboarding, and employee lifecycle processes
  • Maintain accurate employee records, including qualifications, licences and certifications
  • Review applications, screen candidates, and coordinate recruitment activities
  • Manage training bookings, inductions, and maintain training and competency records
  • Support workforce coordination including rostering updates, mobilisation, and travel arrangements
  • Liaise with internal teams, site personnel, and external providers to support workforce needs
  • Assist employees with HR systems, access, and general enquiries
  • Generate reports on training, compliance, and workforce metrics
  • General administrative tasks

What You’ll Bring

  • Experience with Employment Hero or Sprintsuite (highly regarded)
  • Previous experience in HR administration, recruitment, or a similar role
  • Good Excel skills and confidence with digital platforms
  • High attention to detail with strong organisational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
