Home Care Your Way, a boutique accredited home care provider, is seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and versatile Personal Carer to join our team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality personal care services to our residents in a professional, caring, and confidential manner while also assisting with the administrative duties of the home care business. This role requires someone who can support the day-to-day operations of the village under management’s direction, offering both direct care and administrative expertise.

Key Responsibilities:
- Personal Care: Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
- Medication Management: Distribute and administer Webster pack medications, monitor compliance, and support residents with various non-Webster pack medications, including topical creams, puffers, nebulisers, and more.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and confidential records, including filing systems related to resident care.
- Resident Support: Provide companionship and emotional support to residents, fostering a respectful and dignified environment.
- Communication: Liaise with management, healthcare professionals, and family members to ensure continuity of care and address any concerns.
- Village Support: Assist with the smooth running of the village as directed by management, ensuring a harmonious living environment for all residents.
- Administrative Support: Assist with the administrative duties of the home care business, including:
- Maintaining and updating electronic health records and care plans.
- Processing and organising care schedules.
- Managing communication via email and phone, including responding to enquiries and coordinating with families and healthcare providers.
- Supporting the management team with tasks such as invoicing, payroll support, and ordering supplies.
- Using software such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and any other relevant business management tools.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Certificate III in Individual Support (or equivalent)
- Previous experience in aged care or home care is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic approach to care.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and other relevant software.
- Experience with administrative tasks, including scheduling, record-keeping, and basic financial processes.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
- Valid Driver’s Licence
- Current Police Check
