Cricket NSW (CNSW) is focused on leading and growing the game throughout the state. We oversee all cricket from elite professional teams to community, school, and social cricket programs. As a purpose and people led organisation, CNSW aims to inspire everyone to play and love cricket.

ABOUT CRICKET NSW COLLEGE OF SPORT

NSW College of Sport is the education arm of Cricket NSW. We partner with the University of Wollongong and other industry organisations to provide outstanding experiences, outcomes, and pathways for students. Through our programs and courses we are developing the next generation of sports industry leaders.

NSW College of Sport focuses on developing strongly connected students, ensuring positive community impact and sustaining an environment that allows our people to thrive. ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting to the Education Manager, in this role you will:

  • Assist with day-to-day delivery of NSWCOS programs (SIS50321 Diploma of Sport and/or BSB50420 Diploma of Leadership and Management).
  • Support the review, development and implementation of training and assessment material in line with Training & Assessment Strategies, including Unit Outlines, Assessment Matrices, Assessments, Lesson Plans and Lesson Resources.
  • Deliver an exceptional student experience and teach in an engaging and relevant way that meets students’ needs.
  • Support our partner RTO (UOW College) regarding all systems and compliance requirements and matters.
  • Maintain the Student Attendance Register accurately and complete other tasks as required on the student Learning Management System (aXcelerate).

  

ABOUT YOU

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications with subsequent related experience
  • Cert IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122 or equivalent)
  • Strong interpersonal skills, particularly verbal and written communication with the ability to develop positive relationships at all organisational levels.
  • Personal computing skills with specific knowledge of Learning Management Systems and Microsoft 365 products
  • Current Working with Children Check and First Aid Certification
  • Passionate about teaching, education, sport development, leadership and management
  • Detailed and disciplined when it comes to compliance, including following processes and procedures.
