Cricket NSW (CNSW) is focused on leading and growing the game throughout the state. We
oversee all cricket from elite professional teams to community, school, and social cricket programs. As a purpose and people led organisation, CNSW aims to inspire everyone to play and love cricket.
Our Wildly Important Goal (WIG) is to grow the number of 5–12-year-olds playing cricket. To deliver on our WIG and strategic priorities we have a collaborative, customer-centric approach. We use our values; Humility, Excellence, Imagination and Relationships to deliver memorable experiences to
participants and fans.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting to the Head of Content & Strategic Communications in this role you will:
- Be responsible for enhancing Cricket NSW’s reputation through world class, customer centric
communications and storytelling
- Work with Community Cricket and Elite Cricket to deliver strategic communications in line
with Cricket NSW’s content and Communications Strategy
- Craft compelling narratives and stories that inspire Cricket participation and drive connection
and passion for the Cricket NSW Blues and Breakers
- Build relationships with key metro and regional media to maximise effective
communications and PR
ABOUT YOU
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or similar
- Experience in creating content and managing media in a similar organisation
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings
- Ability to capture and edit digital media content, and ability to prepare media announcements and content
- Strong written communication skills and verbal communication skills
- A knack for building strong internal and external relationships
