Solutions Architect – Systems Integration

Responsibilities

• Attend customer meetings and build value-added relationships from initial engagement through to sign-off, built on a consultative approach to engagement
• Manage suppliers in terms of building and maintaining relationships and maintaining up to date knowledge of products and industry trends
• Design complex Interactive AVL systems with a consultative approach for design & build projects
• Validate client/tender BOQs and optimize designs to provide high quality solutions
• Work with estimation team to guide system design and product selection
• Check and validate BOQs, quotations produced by estimation team
• Produce Acoustic, Video, Lighting simulations, calculations as required to design and verify solutions
• Creation of high-quality presentations and proposals for major opportunities
• Communicate and present information to stakeholders about all SI contract-related matters
• Serve as the singular point of contact for the business in matters concerning system design
• Communicate and/or present information to internal or external stakeholders about project design related matters
• Other responsibilities as assigned and/or required

Person Specifications

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in a similar position.
• Technical skills: AVL, interactive & control system design and integration. Knowledge of AVL hardware and understanding of networking and AVL & control protocols.
• Project Management: Develop AVL system architectures and proposals. Create project plans and timelines and manage budgets.
• Customer service: consult with clients to determine AVL requirements, provide technical support during pre-sales and post-sales phases.
• Problem solving: troubleshoot complex AVL system issues, recommend technical solutions and resolve integration challenges.
• Communication: present technical proposals, collaborate with team members
• Teamwork: collaborate with cross-functional teams, coordinate with subcontractors.
• Continuous improvement: evaluate and implement new technologies, optimize system performance. Seeks feedback for improvement.
• Advanced level of computer literacy and industry software. Expected to be familiar with platforms such as QSYS designer, Soundvision, Arraycalc, Ease Pro 5, Mapping Matter, Depence, Captur, Vectorworks, Autocad, Media Server platforms such as Disguise, Pixera.
