About us
CPAP Direct is a retail and clinical leader in the sleep apnea industry across Australia. We have 20+ retail stores and a large e-commerce business and are the ‘go to’ destination for people to research, be diagnosed and treated successfully for sleep related conditions.
We have an exciting opportunity for a charismatic, energetic and positive individual to join our administrative team based in Bundall on the Gold Coast.
Come and be part of a dynamic, friendly and patient-centric focused company, delivering customer and patient satisfaction!
What you will be doing – Full and comprehensive training is provided!
Whilst existing Diagnostics Services Support experience is an advantage, it is not essential for the role. You will be looking after patient bookings, referral management and provide administrative support for our diagnostic clinics – we will teach you what you need to know about the sleep and CPAP therapy industry. Liaising with our clinic staff, reporting doctors and sleep scientists, you will use your strong interpersonal skills and excellent phone manner, and be able to prioritise between competing tasks.
You’ll feel right at home if a positive, supportive environment is where you’re able to do your best work. We believe it’s a crucial element to provide a five star service to our customers at every interaction, via phone, email and in person.
Here are a few things we think will make you ideal for this role:
- Experience in healthcare administration or professional customer service is highly regarded (but not necessary). We’re looking for the attitude above all else. Be a positive and team focused individual!
- You have previous experience in a busy, multi-tasking administration or customer service role
- You’ll have a strong customer service focus, with empathy, compassion and a drive to deliver the best patient-centric outcomes
- Thrive under pressure and work well independently and as part of a team
- Have strong communication skills, with the capacity to respond quickly to the needs of our customers and the team
- Excellent phone manner and email etiquette.
- Ability to prioritise well. This position involves balancing several competing tasks at any one time.
- Be a quick learner, with initiative and tenacity
- Have high attention to detail. A meticulousness towards administrative processes is an absolute must.
- Proficiency with computer applications (Office 365 and proprietary software is routinely used).
- Enthusiasm, positivity and the genuine work ethic to ‘get things done’
- Proven integrity, professionalism and discretion – you’ll be comfortable with sensitive information, and will do the right thing, even when no-one’s watching
We genuinely value diversity – of perspectives, approaches and lived experiences. We also know that not everyone’s super confident when they apply for roles. So if you’re feeling unsure about any of the above, or just want to have a conversation, email us at hr.officer@cpap.com.au, and we’ll be in touch.

- Above award salary
- A genuine commitment to workplace culture and well-being
- Work with great, smart people

Here are some reasons why we hope you’ll love working for us:
- Find a culture of kindness and respect. We really care – about our work and our people. We don’t just provide our patients with friendly and compassionate care, you will feel it too.
- Do work that matters and feel valued for your contribution. We provide a patient-focused service. We ‘see’ them when they walk in the door. The experience for them is personal and as such you will enjoy meaningful interactions.
- Enjoy varied work and grow as you go. You’ll jump in and out of many different tasks and challenges, and our whole team will support you to achieve, whatever comes your way.
And here are some reasons why we’re afraid you might not:
- CPAP Direct’s really good at trust and integrity. We’re not so good at micro-management. If you find it hard to work without pressure or ongoing direction, we’re definitely not the best choice for you.
- We value change, we are growing and we understand change is part of growth.
