Junior Accountant

Summary:

We are seeking a Junior Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with the preparation of financial statements, maintaining records, and performing other accounting duties as assigned. The Junior Accountant will work closely with senior accounting staff to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting principles.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions
• Reconcile bank statements and other accounts
• Assist with the preparation of tax returns and other regulatory filings
• Assist with the preparation of budgets and forecasts
• Perform other accounting duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and accuracy
