About Us

Country Home Services, a not-for-profit organisation, has been delivering person centred home care services for over 35 years across the Yorke Peninsula, Clare Valley, Barossa Valley, Adelaide Plains, and the Mid and Lower North.

About the Role

Country Home Services  is seeking a motivated and reliable Junior Administration Assistant to join our Administration  team on a full-time basis, located in Nuriootpa.

This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for a proactive individual looking to start or build their career in administration. The role offers hands-on experience, exposure to a professional office environment with strong potential for learning and future growth within the organisation.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office
  • Direct visitors to the appropriate person and office
  • Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls
  • Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and materials (e.g., pens, forms, brochures)
  • Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail/deliveries
  • Perform other clerical duties  

 

 To be successful in this role you will have/be

  • A proactive problem-solver who is eager to learn and take on new challenges.
  • Ability to work in a value-driven organisation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbally and in writing.
  • Highly organised and can manage multiple tasks with a keen eye for detail.
  • Comfortable with computers and common software like Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent organizational, time management and priority setting skills
  • Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment and autonomously with little supervision when required

This is a junior role, so we’re not looking for years of experience. We’re looking for the right attitude and a willingness to learn.
