Costa Taco is on the hunt for a passionate and reliable Cook / Kitchen Team Member to join our crew. We serve authentic Mexican food with traditional flavours and are on a mission to create a new experience in Mexican hospitality, built on strong systems, clear procedures and consistent execution.

We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast paced kitchen, follows documented processes and takes pride in every plate.

Your Role

  • You will be part of the kitchen team and responsible for executing our operational systems and procedures to a high standard. This includes:
  • Completing daily opening and closing procedures using documented checklists and logs.
  • Assisting with stocktake and prep list planning in line with established schedules and written procedures.
  • Preparing food to Costa Taco standard recipes so service is fast, fresh and consistent every time.
  • Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen throughout your shift, restocking service stations (grill, pass, bain marie) as per station checklists.
  • Following and documenting all food safety systems, including temperature logs, sanitising routines and HACCP requirements.
  • Monitoring and recording food wastage so we can review data and improve our systems over time.
  • Supporting inventory and stock rotation procedures to minimise losses and protect product quality.
  • Contributing to smooth lunch and dinner service operations by following the agreed workflows.
  • Completing shift reports and documenting any variances from procedures, then communicating them clearly with the team.
