We are seeking an experienced Brand Manager for to take ownership of this globally recognised prestige brand in a parental leave position. We are estimating the duration of this temporary role to be for an initial 6 month position, however based on business needs and growth, there may be other opportunities arise to enable an extension or transition to a permanent role.
This is a rare chance to lead the local strategy, execution and performance of a high-profile beauty portfolio, with key initiatives already in motion and the opportunity to make an immediate, visible impact within a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
The Opportunity
You will step into a well-structured environment with a comprehensive handover, an established brand with a clear global strategy, and strong cross-functional support in place.
In this role, you will take full ownership of a globally recognised luxury fashion house beauty brand, leading local strategy, execution and performance across all channels. With key initiatives already in market plans, you will have the opportunity to make an immediate and visible impact.
This is a high-impact role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys both strategic thinking and hands-on delivery.
The Role
You will manage your own portfolio and take ownership of all aspects of brand management including:
- Own full P&L accountability, including budgeting financial performance
- Delivery against key commercial targets including market share, net sales and category growth
- Forecasting and product lifecycle management
- Develop and execute 360° marketing plans, including product launches and promotional campaigns
- Mentor and guide your Junior Brand Manager and Marketing Assistant
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external local and global stakeholders
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, PR, VM, Sales and Operations teams to achieve targets
Who you are
You have previous solid experience in marketing and product management and will have worked in a role such as Brand Manager or Senior Brand Manager for at least 2-3 years.
You will also:
- Have a degree in Business, Commerce or similar and ideally with a major in Marketing (or equivalent experience)
- Ideally within the Fragrance, Beauty, consumer product or luxury industry experience, in particular in the department stores environment is highly desirable.
- Be able to showcase your global brand experience in relation to brand guidelines and adapting global strategies to build local business
- Strong commercial acumen with hands-on experience managing budgets and P&L
- Highly analytical with strong attention to detail
- Naturally you are goal-driven, proactive and thrive on delivering results in a high-pressure environment
- And you must be a team player with excellent communication skills along with advanced Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
