Software Developer JD Edwards – Expression of Interest

We are seeking an experienced JD Edwards (JDE) Developer to design, develop, enhance, and support solutions within Design, develop, and maintain JD Edwards EnterpriseOne applications, reports, and integrations using standard JDE toolsets (FDA, RDA, OMW).Develop and modify Business Functions (C), Universal Business Unit (UBE) reports, forms, and reports.

Analyse business requirements and translate them into well-designed technical solutions in collaboration with functional consultants and business analysts.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain JD Edwards EnterpriseOne applications, reports, and integrations using standard JDE toolsets (FDA, RDA, OMW)
• Develop and modify Business Functions (C), UBEs, forms, and reports
• Analyse business requirements and translate them into well‑designed technical solutions in collaboration with functional consultants and business analysts
• Support and enhance core JDE modules such as Finance, Manufacturing, Distribution, Procurement, and Order Management
• Build and support interfaces and integrations using Orchestrator, EDI, web services (REST/SOAP), and middleware
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root‑cause analysis, and implement sustainable fixes
• Participate in JDE upgrades, patches, retrofitting, and system enhancements
• Perform unit testing, support SIT/UAT, and assist with deployment to production environments
• Maintain technical documentation, coding standards, and knowledge articles
• Work closely with CNC and infrastructure teams to ensure performance, security, and system stability

Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years’ experience as a JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Developer (9.x environments preferred)
• Solid SQL skills with Oracle and/or SQL Server
• Experience with JDE integrations, including Orchestrator, EDI, BSSV, and APIs
• Understanding of ERP business processes, particularly in finance, manufacturing, or supply chain
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Exposure to WebLogic, Java, XML, or BI Publisher
• Knowledge of JDE CNC concepts (environments, pathcodes, security)
