• Provide leadership to staff, leading by example, to support our business culture and values.

• Provide support, training, motivation, development and coaching to packing staff.

• Develop a high performing, capable and engaged team and reduce staff turnover.

• Maintain staff matrix program and regular staff training in SOP’s, procedures, work instructions, policies and our OHS agendas.

• Assist the Warehouse Operations Manager in overseeing daily repacking operations, ensuring key targets, quality, and timelines are met.

• Supervise the repack teams, including training, scheduling, and performance management. Foster a positive work culture that promotes teamwork, safety, and productivity.

• Assume full responsibility for the repacking department in the absence of the Warehouse Operations Manager, ensuring smooth operations and decision-making continuity.

• Manage day-to-day packing operations and product supply in and out of the packing lines.

• Manage packing equipment, processes and systems and develop standard operating procedures and work instructions.

• Help and schedule around preventative maintenance of machines.

• Provide timely and proactive support and solutions in resolving issues with staff and stakeholders.

• Resource and manage daily workloads for packing activities.

• Eliminate inventory damages and loss, make sure cyclic and full stocktakes are conducted according to plan and agreed processes.

• Assist in the preparation of regular repack line reports, including performance metrics, downtime analysis, and resource utilization

• Monitor and report on cost per unit and units per hour for packing activities. Implement corrective actions if necessary to meet and exceed targets.

• Control casual staff spend and in conjunction with the Warehouse Operations Manager maintain daily casual staff allocation to meet cost per activity.

• Control and eliminate or minimise waste: packing errors, inventory damages/write offs or loss.

• Be a business role model.

• Maintain regular communication to internal stakeholders, staff and suppliers.

• Hold regular monthly performance and KPI reviews with service providers

• Escalate and communicate issues immediately with Warehouse Operations Manager.

• Maintain daily communication and daily huddles with packing staff.

• Pro-actively promote and support collaboration between the teams and staff
