About the role
Coreserve Australia PTY LTD is seeking a dynamic food industry professional looking for a career shift towards business development. We’re looking for someone who can leverage transferable skills (leadership, management, customer service, attention to detail) gained during their culinary experience to connect with potential and existing clients, partners, and suppliers on a deeper level, building trust more quickly. They would have to develop networking and sales skills as they move to a more strategic, high-level business role in the Food Production Cleaning industry.
What you’ll be doing
- Assist in identifying potential business opportunities
- Conduct market research to identify industry trends and potential clients
- Help maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients
- Support the preparation of sales presentations and proposals
- Participate in networking activities and events
- Track and report on sales performance metrics
- Collaborate with the internal teams to develop lead generation strategies
- Provide administrative support to the service team as needed
What we’re looking for
- Prior experience in food safety, food production, cleaning; HACCP exposure, preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skill
- Highly motivated and target-driven personality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
