The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Civil Designer to deliver high‑quality civil design and drafting for transport and infrastructure projects. You will be responsible for producing accurate, technically sound design outputs that meet project requirements in line with the agreed scope, timelines and budgets.
This role requires a high level of technical competence, initiative and collaboration within a boutique consulting environment. You will have the opportunity to take technical ownership of key infrastructure packages and play a meaningful role in the continued growth of our Brisbane office.
What You’ll Do
Lead civil design packages for moderate–complex transport and infrastructure projects
Produce accurate, coordinated drawings and documentation
Apply strong 12d and AutoCAD skills to develop practical, buildable solutions
Manage design budgets and contribute to efficient project delivery
Coordinate with engineers, sub‑consultants and multidisciplinary teams
Support client communication and assist with design reports
Ensure quality, safety and compliance across all outputs
- Provide guidance to junior designers when needed
What You’ll Bring
5-8 years civil design experience in transport/infrastructure
Experience in 12d and AutoCAD required
BCC and/or DTMR project experience (desirable)
Solid understanding of Australian Standards and authority requirements
Ability to manage time, budgets and competing priorities
Clear communication and collaborative working style
- Advanced Diploma of Civil Engineering (or equivalent experience)
