Summary:
We are looking for experienced support workers to care for participants with complex needs, including non-invasive ventilation (NIV), PEG feeds, full hoist assistance, and catheter care. The successful candidate will be responsible for helping clients with daily living activities, providing emotional support, and promoting independence and community integration.
The ideal candidates should meet the additional following criteria:
– Have a medical background or be currently training/studying nursing or any other medical field courses.
– Enjoy participating in community activities and engaging with participants.

Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Provide emotional support and companionship to clients
- Help clients with mobility and transportation needs
- Administer medication and monitor health conditions
- Assist with meal preparation and household tasks
- Develop and implement individualized care plans
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure the best possible care for clients
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
Qualifications:
- Certification in disability support or related field preferred
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
- Ability to handle challenging behaviors and situations
- Knowledge of disability rights and advocacy
