The Role: As our WHSE Administrator, you will provide administrative and coordination support to the Workplace Health, Safety and Environment team, ensuring WHSE systems, records and processes are maintained accurately and efficiently. Reporting to the WHSE Manager, you’ll enable the team to operate effectively by tracking actions, coordinating training, managing records and responding to WHSE enquiries across the network. In the role you will:

  • Be the first point of contact for WHSE administrative enquiries, escalating technical or complex matters.
  • Provide ongoing engagement with the Containers for Change network by following up on low level WHSE issues and enquiries.
  • Monitor and manage the WHSE inbox, ensuring queries are actioned in a timely and appropriate manner.
  • Maintain accurate WHSE records.
  • Track corrective actions, providing regular updates to the WHSE team.
  • Coordinate and monitor WHSE report submissions, following up on outstanding items.

  • Sound working knowledge of WHSE legislation, codes of practice and standards.
  • Experience providing administrative or coordination support within a WHSE operational or regulated environment.
  • Confident working independently while also collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational skills with a high level of attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong computer literacy and experience using databases, registers and standard business systems.
  • Qualifications in Workplace Health and Safety is desirable.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a satisfactory criminal history check.
