We are a full-service Australian telecommunications company, our head office is based in Goodwood, with branches located in Southern and Northern Tasmania, Victoria and South Australia. We pride ourselves on providing turnkey solutions in telecommunications and broadcasting.

The company provides end-to-end solutions in access, transit and wireless telecommunications networks. We offer design, installation and maintenance services, supported by strong project management skills.

We currently have a part time position for a Warehouse Supervisor based at our Head Office in Goodwood, Tasmania.

Role Responsibilities:

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing warehouse operations and supporting project logistics across Comstar Systems. This includes receiving and dispatching goods, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring stock is ordered and delivered in line with project requirements. The role liaises closely with Supervisors and Managers, to ensure timely and efficient material handling.

Key duties include overseeing stock control, maintaining the inventory database, managing waste disposal, and ensuring compliance with QEHS standards. The Warehouse Supervisor also ensures client equipment is securely stored and accounted for, and that all warehouse activities support safe, clean, and efficient operations.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Certification / Course in warehouse / logistics management (Desirable)
  • Practical experience in telecommunications or similar (Desirable)
  • Test and Tag Certification (Desirable)
  • Experience in stores/warehouse
  • Ability to undertake unsupervised stocktakes, maintain stock rotation and manage stock costs for specific projects
  • Experience in delivery and receipt of deliveries
  • Full Manual Drivers Licence
  • Forklift Licence
  • Excellent literacy and numeracy skills
  • Medium Rigid Truck Licence
  • White Card
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
