About you
Previous experience within the disability or aged care sectors is desirable however the right personality set is equally as good.
No experience is welcome with the opportunity to complete a Cert 3 in Individual Support.
The successful applicant will have or be willing and able to obtain:
- Working with Children Check (Blue Card) or willingness to obtain
- Current NDIS Worker Screening check or willingness to obtain
- A current First Aid and CPR Certificate or willingness to obtain
- Demonstrated reliability, flexibility and a positive fun attitude
- Excellent communication skills including verbal, written and listening
- Competent using technology – Smart Phone and Apps
- Availability to attend mandatory, paid training programs
The successful applicant must:
- Demonstrate a positive, fun attitude;
- Show initiative and compassion for the wider community;
- Exhibit an ability to problem solve with individuals and follow policies and procedures at all times;
- Demonstrate an understanding of incident reporting, quality documentation, complaints handling, and restrictive practices;
- Be willing to working closely with families, advocates, professionals, volunteers and therapy staff;
- Possess a Queensland Drivers Licence
- Be available and understanding of the Agency’s 24/7 service delivery, which may include evenings, nights, sleepovers, weekends and public holidays.

- Permanent Part time/ Casual Contracts with potential permanent contracts (ability to pick up shifts up to 76hrs a Fortnight)
- SCHADS awards Level 1.1 – 2.4 (Based on Qualifications and Experience)
