CommBox is looking for an experienced and commercially driven Sales Director (Head of Sales) to lead the national sales function and drive the next stage of growth.

This is a key leadership role for someone who knows how to build momentum, lead high-performing teams, strengthen channel relationships, and convert opportunity into results. You will take ownership of sales strategy, team performance, partner growth, and major customer outcomes across CommBox’s core markets.

About the Role

The Sales Director leads CommBox’s sales team across Australia and is responsible for delivering revenue growth, market expansion, and strong commercial performance. The role works closely with leadership, marketing, operations, and product teams to ensure the sales engine is aligned, disciplined, and built for scale.

This role suits a confident leader who can set direction, lift capability, improve accountability, and win in competitive markets.

What You Will Be Responsible For

  • Lead and execute CommBox’s national sales strategy
  • Deliver revenue, gross margin, and market share growth
  • Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing sales team
  • Drive sales activity across education, corporate, government, and commercial markets
  • Strengthen relationships with key customers, resellers, distributors, consultants, and AV partners
  • Improve pipeline quality, forecasting accuracy, and CRM discipline
  • Support major opportunities, tenders, and strategic bids
  • Work closely with internal teams to align go-to-market activity and customer outcomes
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities
  • Create a high-performance sales culture built on accountability, consistency, and results

What We Are Looking For

  • Proven experience in a senior sales leadership role such as Sales Director, Head of Sales, or National Sales Manager
  • Strong track record of delivering revenue growth and leading successful sales teams
  • Experience in B2B sales, ideally in technology, AV, hardware, software, or solution-based environments
  • Strong commercial acumen across forecasting, pricing, planning, and margin management
  • Experience leading direct and channel-based sales models
  • Ability to manage complex sales cycles and enterprise-level opportunities
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and people development capability
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong CRM and reporting discipline
  • A hands-on approach with the ability to move between strategy and execution

Preferred Experience

  • Experience in interactive technology, commercial display, AV, EdTech, or workplace technology
  • Exposure to education, enterprise, government, or channel-led sales environments
  • Experience managing national or multi-state teams
  • Familiarity with tenders, procurement processes, and strategic account planning
