CommBox is growing across Victoria, South Australia and Tasmania, and this is a great opportunity for a driven Business Development Manager to lead growth across the region. CommBox is looking for a confident, proactive and relationship-focused sales professional who can open doors, build reseller partnerships, engage end-user customers and create strong commercial outcomes. Based in Melbourne, you will also use the new CommBox Melbourne Experience Centre in Brunswick as a powerful sales tool to bring customers, resellers and partners closer to the CommBox product experience. This role suits someone who enjoys being on the road, meeting people, presenting technology and turning relationships into revenue.

About the role

As the Business Development Manager – VIC, SA & TAS, you will be responsible for growing CommBox sales across the southern region. You will work closely with resellers, integrators, education customers, corporate customers and government organisations to identify opportunities and position CommBox as the preferred interactive and commercial display solution. You will use the Melbourne Experience Centre to host demonstrations, run reseller sessions, support customer visits and create memorable product experiences that help move opportunities forward.

What you will do

You will:

  • Build and grow reseller, partner and end-user relationships across VIC, SA and TAS.
  • Drive new business opportunities across education, corporate, government and commercial markets.
  • Use the CommBox Melbourne Experience Centre to host demonstrations, customer briefings and reseller events.
  • Support resellers by helping them position CommBox solutions with confidence.
  • Develop a strong sales pipeline through proactive prospecting, account planning and follow-up.
  • Visit reseller offices, customer sites, trade events and industry networking opportunities.
  • Present and demonstrate CommBox interactive and commercial display solutions.
  • Work with internal sales, pre-sales, marketing, customer success and product teams to win opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, pipeline activity, meeting notes and sales forecasts.
  • Represent CommBox professionally across the region and build long-term market trust.

You will bring:

  • Experience in business development, channel sales, account management or technology sales.
  • Strong reseller, partner or end-user relationship skills.
  • Confidence presenting and demonstrating technology solutions.
  • A proactive approach to prospecting, pipeline development and follow-up.
  • Strong commercial judgement and negotiation skills.
  • The ability to travel across Victoria, South Australia and Tasmania.
  • Experience using a CRM to manage opportunities and sales activity.
  • Strong communication, organisation and time management skills.
  • A professional, customer-first approach.

Experience in AV, education technology, interactive displays, commercial displays, digital signage, unified communications, workplace technology or channel sales is highly valued.

Location
