  • Oversee and ensure safe forklift use, manual handling, machine operation, and transport-related activities

Production & Logistics Execution

  • Lead and coordinate production, transport and logistics operations on afternoon shift to ensure customer and operational requirements are met
  • Be actively involved in daily production planning and transport scheduling, including adjusting priorities and schedules on shift as required to maintain workflow and service levels
  • Coordinate and oversee vehicle loading to align with production output, delivery requirements, and CoR compliance.
  • Support and, where required, participate in loading activities and deliveries to ensure safe, timely execution.
  • Proactively manage delays or disruptions by implementing practical alternative solutions on shift and escalating early when additional support or decisions are required

Quality & Performance

  • Conduct inspections of finished goods and loaded vehicles
  • Lead and support investigations into quality issues, damages or discrepancies
  • Contribute to daily and weekly performance reporting and KPI achievement

Cost & Efficiency

  • Identify opportunities to reduce waste and improve efficiency without compromising safety or quality
  • Support preventative maintenance and defect reporting to minimise downtime

What You’ll Bring:

  • Demonstrated experience leading manufacturing or logistics operations in a fast-paced environment
  • A hands-on leadership style with strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Working knowledge of WHS legislation and Chain of Responsibility (HVNL)
  • A structured, disciplined approach to operations, SOPs, and execution standards
  • The ability to remain calm, decisive and effective under pressure
  • A strong focus on teamwork, accountability and practical leadership

Licenses/ Qualifications
