Established over 30 years ago, the Company is a successful manufacturer of high-quality polyethylene products to the Agriculture and Mining industries, with headquarters, and multiple regional offices, in WA. It has experienced exponential success since inception, with both organic and acquisitive growth, and is now embarking on an exciting new phase in the company’s history. As such, it is looking for an experienced Product Assembler.
Scope of Duties:
The role is responsible for assembly of all wastewater and sewage tank products, based out of the
Malaga assembly facility.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble components for aerobic treatment systems, wastewater systems, and pumps stations in accordance with drawings or data sheets
- Install pumps, valves, pipework, floats, and control boxes in pre molded tanks
- Conduct mechanical and minor electrical fit-offs (e.g., float switch wiring, control box mounting)
- Carry out pressure or functionality tests where required to confirm product performance
- Assist with picking, packing, and loading orders for dispatch
- Maintain clean and organized work areas in line with safety and 5S principles
- Work closely with the warehouse and logistics team to meet delivery deadlines
Qualifications:
- Experience with similar product assembly or basic plumbing skills preferred
- Technical knowledge and hands-on experience using a variety of hand tools, power tools or machines
- Ability to work from drawings an advantage
- General experience with hand tools ideal
- Good communication skills.
- Current forklift license beneficial – not a prerequisite, as we will provide training if required.
- Current WA driver’s license
