Summary:

As a Multiskilled Support Worker in Ridgewood, Western Australia, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals in need. This temporary, casual position requires a compassionate and dedicated individual who can adapt to various tasks and environments, ensuring the well-being and dignity of those you assist. Your contributions will be essential in enhancing the quality of life for our clients and supporting their independence.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care and support to clients, including assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
  • Administer medication and monitor clients’ health conditions as per care plans.
  • Assist clients with mobility and transportation to appointments or social activities.
  • Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in clients’ conditions to the supervising staff.
  • Engage clients in social and recreational activities to promote mental and emotional well-being.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.

Qualifications:

  • Certificate IV in Disability or Aged Care (has_cert_iiii).
  • Previous experience in a similar role within the social care sector.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and their families.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Compassionate and patient approach to care.
  • Basic first aid and CPR certification is preferred.
  • Flexibility to work casual hours, including evenings and weekends.
