Role Description
We are currently seeking experienced Multiskilled Support Workers to join our team in Ridgewood, supporting a participant living with Huntington’s Disease and an Acquired Brain Injury (ABI).
The participant presents with behaviours of concern, so previous experience in behaviour management and a calm, confident approach are essential.
Shifts will be based within a SIL home environment, with a mix of day and evening shifts available.
Responsibilities
Provide quality person-centred support in daily living and community activities.
Implement behaviour support strategies in line with the client’s Behaviour Support Plan.
Maintain accurate progress notes and communication through ShiftCare.
Support the participant to achieve their personal goals and maintain independence.
Promote safety, dignity, and choice at all times.
Qualifications & Requirements
✅ Previous experience supporting individuals with behaviours of concern (essential)
✅ Experience with ABI or Huntington’s Disease (preferred)
✅ Strong communication and de-escalation skills
✅ Reliable, professional, and passionate about making a difference

Employment Type: Casual (with potential to transition too part-time)
Award: SCHADS Award – pay level based on qualification and experience
