Performance & Strategy Business Partner – IEA
Ready to Make a Difference? At CoAct, we exist to help people create positive, lasting change.
We’re looking for a collaborative and commercially minded Performance & Strategy Business Partner – IEA to join our national team and play a critical role in driving service partner performance across the Inclusive Employment Australia (IEA) program.
This is a highly consultative role where strategy, relationships, data and innovation come together. You’ll work closely with service providers to analyse contract outcomes, identify risks and opportunities, and develop targeted strategies to improve results and client impact.
If you bring deep experience in DES or IEA employment services performance, a strong analytical mindset, and the confidence to challenge, influence and drive improvement, we’d love to hear from you.
About the Role
Reporting to the General Manager – IEA/TTW, you’ll operate across a diverse national network of service partners, working with multiple providers simultaneously to drive consistent performance uplift and improved client outcomes.
Rather than a traditional one-to-one business partnering model, you’ll engage across a portfolio of service partners analysing performance trends across the network, identifying variation, and tailoring strategies to each provider’s context, capability and maturity.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse performance and contract data to identify trends, risks and opportunities
- Develop tailored action plans and improvement strategies with service partners
- Provide strategic guidance, support and performance coaching
- Conduct workforce planning and performance reviews aligned to service delivery models
- Create reports, presentations and resources that translate complex information into actionable insights
- Facilitate webinars, training sessions and Business Partner forums
- Support projects and initiatives focused on innovation and operational improvement
- Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships across the employment services sector
- Ensure compliance obligations and contractual requirements are met
About You
You’re a proactive and relationship-focused professional who enjoys working collaboratively to create real impact.
You’ll bring:
- Experience within Disability Employment Services (DES), Workforce Australia, IEA or similar employment services programs
- Strong analytical capability with experience interpreting and presenting performance and contract data
- Excellent report writing, communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Previous experience in strategic planning, business development, consulting or performance-focused roles
- Strong relationship-building and influencing skills
- Experience working across multiple stakeholders in fast-paced environments
- Confidence facilitating discussions, presentations and training sessions
- Experience with CRM and reporting systems (JobReady and MODE highly regarded)
Location:
This is a work-from-home (WFH) position which requires self-discipline, focus and motivation to meet daily KPIs. This is not a flexible working environment, standard business hours are required to support our clients and sites, though we do provide plenty of benefits that help to maintain work life balance.
The successful candidate must maintain an appropriate and safe workstation at home and ideally be based in either Brisbane or Melbourne.
What’s on Offer
- Flexible working arrangements
- Travel required approximately 2–3 days per month
- Fixed-term full-time contract through to June 2029
- Competitive salary + mobile allowance
- Salary packaging available up to $15,900 per annum (tax‑saving benefit)
- Additional wellbeing leave (13 extra days per year)
- Home office setup allowance
- Health and wellbeing allowance
- Corporate health insurance discounts
