We are looking for an enthusiastic housekeeper to join our friendly team.

CYC Adanac, set on 13 acres of parkland, natural bush, a recreational lake and magnificent views over the Yarra Ranges, is one of Victoria’s favourite group accommodation facilities for schools, churches and community groups.

Key Tasks:
As a Housekeeper you will be responsible for helping our guests have a peaceful and rewarding experience by providing and maintaining a clean and healthy environment in guest rooms and common areas of the site. This includes:
- Cleaning and maintaining guest rooms and common areas to a high standard including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning bathrooms and toilets
- Making beds
- Identifying and reporting maintenance issues in guest rooms and common areas
- Responding promptly and professionally to guest requests
About You:
- One year of cleaning experience is preferred but not essential
- You have a keen eye for detail
- You love working in a team environment
- You are physically fit and able to follow safety guidelines while performing duties.
- You are available Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays on a casual basis

- Am I suited? This role would suit someone who lives close to Yarra Junction, is keen to join a caring staff community, and has the flexibility to work the hours below.
- What are the shifts? The housekeeping shifts are generally 7am or 8am start and finish at 12noon on Monday’s and Wednesday, or 4pm on Friday’s. There is also occassional weekend work.
- Is there training? Yes. We let you shadow our staff and ensure you are safely signed off on all our chemicals and equipment.
- Is it stressful? Not at all. We have a relaxed team of predominately working parents who have been here for many years.
