- Conduct hands-on testing of consumer products

About you
You are a detail oriented and hands-on Test Officer, with the ability to apply scientific thinking to real world product testing and deliver independent, evidence based insights.
You have:
- Proven experience in product testing or a scientific/engineering environment with strong analytical thinking
- Hands-on laboratory or technical testing skills
- Strong time management and project coordination skills
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, written and verbal communication to provide technical advice to internal teams and external clients
About the role
$80,000 + superannuation | Full time | Permanent
This is an opportunity to be part of Reviews and Testing at CHOICE. Reporting to the Laboratory Manager, you will be an integral part of contributing to independent testing using in-house methods and Australian or international standards.
You will also:
- Support commercial projects by delivering testing services aligned with NATA requirements and client specifications
- Ensure testing equipment and laboratory practices meet safety, compliance and operational standards
- Contribute to continuous improvement of methodologies and processes
- Maintain accurate records, datasets and documentation to support reproducibility and audit requirements
- Manage various testing projects, delivering outcomes with timelines, budgets and quality frameworks
