About the role

We are looking for a full-time Trade Assistant to be based in our Malaga workshop. You will work work in a team of labourers and tradespeople to build and repair water and wastewater treatment packaged plant for our clients. Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor, you will assist tradespeople with general labouring duties, and cleaning and maintaining the workshop and equipment.

Responsibility

• Assist mechanical/electrical trades for project and maintenance activities
• Drop off/pick up of deliveries receives goods deliveries including forklift operation
• Assist with packing and preparation of sending equipment to site for projects
• Checks of delivery dockets and sends through to the supply chain team
• Manages consumable stock and small inventory levels
• Generates small purchase requisition
• General housekeeping duties

Selection Criteria

• At least two years labouring or trade assistant experience
• Certificate I-II in engineering or equivalent
• HRWL – forklift (desirable) & confined spaces
• Physical ability to undertake labouring and cleaning duties
• Good problem-solving skills
• Ability to follow safe work practices.
