Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team in Mackay, Queensland. This permanent, full-time position is crucial for driving innovative electrical solutions and ensuring the successful execution of engineering projects. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in electrical engineering, demonstrating a strong ability to lead projects and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop electrical systems and components for various engineering projects.
  • Lead and manage electrical engineering projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
  • Conduct detailed analyses and simulations to validate electrical designs and performance.
  • Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to integrate electrical systems into larger projects.
  • Prepare and review technical documentation, including specifications, reports, and project plans.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technical staff.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols.
  • Participate in project meetings and communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates and address concerns.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on project management.
  • Proficiency in electrical design software and simulation tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations.
  • Professional Engineering registration or eligibility for registration is preferred.
