About the Role

Bartlett Blinds is looking for a reliable and motivated Install Technician to join our local Ballarat team.  This is a hands-on, customer-facing role where you’ll be responsible for installing our range of high-quality external blinds, internal blinds, awnings, and security doors in residential and commercial settings.

As the final point of contact with our customers, you’ll play a key role in delivering a professional service experience and ensuring every installation meets our high standards.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Install external blinds, internal blinds, awnings, and security doors
  • Deliver excellent customer service at every job
  • Attend service, maintenance, and warranty jobs as required
  • Troubleshoot and resolve installation issues on-site
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Provide product demonstrations and handover to customers – including after sales care and advice
  • Identify opportunities to up sell products where appropriate
  • Complete all job documentation, reports, and customer sign offs
  • Manage tools, equipment, and stock in your vehicle
  • Liaise with internal teams regarding schedules and job progress

 

Skills & Experience

Essential:

  • Experience in a hands-on or trade-based role (installation/assembly)
  • Strong skills using hand and power tools
  • Good problem-solving ability and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Current driver’s licence
  • Full working rights in Australia

Desirable:

  • Experience in blinds, carpentry, cabinetry, or similar trades
  • Construction White Card
  • Customer service experience
