Cbus Property is seeking a Content Manager for a 12 Month Maternity Leave Contract to play a key role in shaping and delivering our brand strategy, managing brand communications and events programs, and ensuring consistency across all marketing channels.

The Content Manager is a pivotal member of our team, combining creative direction with hands-on execution. Working across multiple departments, this role will drive brand awareness and engagement, strengthen our market presence and support the overall marketing objectives of Cbus Property.

About Us

Cbus Property is a wholly owned entity of Cbus Super, the industry superannuation fund for the Australian construction, building and allied industries, with funds under management currently exceeding $105 billion (as at 30 June 2025).

Cbus Property is responsible for the strategic performance and management of all aspects of the Cbus direct property investment business, including major investments and developments in the commercial office, residential and retail sectors. Our property portfolio currently exceeds $7.5 billion, with a further $4.0 billion of development work in hand, making us one of Australia’s leading integrated property investors and developers.

Key Responsibilities

Brand Governance and Creative Direction

  • Execute the Cbus Property brand strategy and ensure consistency across internal and external communications.
  • Maintain the Corporate Style Guide and support strong brand adoption across the business.
  • Provide brand advice to internal stakeholders and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Work with agencies, suppliers and business teams to identify opportunities that strengthen brand impact.

Marketing Communications

  • Develop and deliver corporate and commercial communications across a range of channels and audiences.
  • Write and manage EDMs, newsletters, announcements and campaign content.
  • Maintain the content calendar and track performance to improve future communications.

Social Media Management

  • Manage social media channels, including content planning, publishing and audience engagement.
  • Create and deliver social content aligned to brand and business priorities.
  • Monitor performance and provide insights to support growth and continuous improvement.

Events Management

  • Lead the planning and delivery of corporate events, including launches, milestone celebrations and brand activations.
  • Manage event suppliers, budgets and project plans to deliver high-quality outcomes.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to align events with broader business and marketing objectives.
  • Evaluate event performance and use insights to inform future activity.

Website Management

  • Maintain and update the corporate website, ensuring content is current, accurate and on brand.
  • Work with internal teams to keep website content aligned to campaigns, events and business priorities.
  • Identify opportunities to improve user experience and digital performance.

Key Skills and Experience

  • Relevant qualifications in Marketing, Communications or a related discipline.
  • Experience in brand, marketing and content delivery.
  • Strong understanding of brand strategy, communications and storytelling.
  • Experience coordinating events from concept through to delivery.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to build trusted relationships.
  • A proactive, adaptable and solutions-focused approach.
  • Experience with WordPress, social media platforms and performance reporting would be highly regarded.
