Description

The Opportunity 

CBC Group is an agile Facilities Maintenance business with a national footprint. We currently have an opportunity for a Service Coordinator / Scheduler to join our Keilor Park office. 

In this role, your focus will be scheduling appointments for our fire technicians to ensure hundreds of our client’s sites have compliant fire safety assets.  

The Role 

Reporting to the Victorian Service Manager, you will manage the end-to-end scheduling of fire maintenance services for one of our largest government accounts. Your day-to-day focus is on ensuring the fire technicians are scheduled between 1 to 3 weeks out at locations across the state.  

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Scheduling: Coordinate and allocate dry fire service work orders to internal fire techs and contractors. 
  • System Integrity: Maintain the Uptick system to ensure all servicing data is accurate and up-to-date. 
  • Service Level Agreement Management: Ensure all scheduling meets agreed SLA’s as per the contract  
  • Stock Management: Receipting, allocating and tracking stock for the contract   

About You 

You are highly organised with a background in either service coordination/scheduling OR fire servicing. You have strong people skills with the ability to get the technicians on side, whilst ensuring efficiency and compliance with scheduling obligations. Specifically, you are:  

  • Strong Scheduler: Previous experience in Service Coordination, Scheduling, or Contract Administration (Facilities, Fire, or Construction background is highly advantageous). 
  • Process Driven: You have a strong drive for success and experience managing high-volume administration with excellent attention to detail. 
  • Tech Proficient: Skilled in MS Office (Excel is essential) and other scheduling or project management software; experience with CMMS platforms is a plus. 
  • Resourceful & Independent: A team player who can also work autonomously and use initiative to solve scheduling conflicts. 
  • Strong Communicator: Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of managing expectations with both technicians and client contacts
