Grounds and Gardens Team Member, Hills District

CBC Facilities Maintenance Pty Ltd have a great opportunity for an experienced Grounds and Gardens Team Member to join our team in the Hills district.

The Grounds and Gardens role is vital in making outdoor spaces for one of our largest clients are well maintained.

About the Role:

• Assist in the maintenance and upkeep of gardens, lawns, and outdoor areas.
• Perform planting, pruning, and weeding tasks to enhance the appearance of landscapes.
• Operate and maintain gardening equipment and tools safely and effectively.
• Support the installation of new plants, trees, and landscaping features.
• Monitor and report on the health of plants and grounds, identifying any issues.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high standards of work.
• Follow health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.

About You:

• Energetic, proactive and a team player
• Previous experience in grounds maintenance or gardening is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of horticulture and landscaping practices.
• Ability to operate gardening tools and machinery safely.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work including WHS.
• Good physical fitness and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
• WHS/OHS Induction Card
• Current Drivers Licence
• Current National Police Check (or willing to obtain one)
• First Aid Certificate (desirable)
