We’re looking for an energetic and experienced Program Manager to lead the delivery of our holiday camps and school outdoor programs to shape adventures that build confidence, connection and lifelong memories.
We pride ourselves on delivering safe, engaging and high quality experiences that bring people together. As Program Manager, you’ll play a key leadership role ensuring our programs run smoothly, our staff feel supported and every guest feels welcomes and inspired.
What You’ll Do
• Plan, deliver and coordinate outdoor programs across holiday camps, school residential, bush programs and journey experiences
• Lead and supervise activity staff, supporting recruitment, onboarding, training and performance
• Model and uphold high standards of safety, risk management and compliance
• Instruct specialised and non-specialised activities (e.g. abseiling, canoeing, high ropes, biking)
• Maintain equipment, first aid supplies and activity records
• Engage positively with guests, ensuring a smooth, safe and enjoyable experience
• Contribute to new program ideas, continuous improvement and organisational initiatives
• Support camp operations including setup, pack-down and occasional after-hours responsibilities
What You Bring
• Fresh ideas, with school networks, community connections or experience in journey-based programs
• 3+ years’ experience in outdoor education, camps, recreation or journey-based programs
• Confident staff leader with the ability to mentor, guide and build a positive team culture
• Strong competence delivering safe, engaging outdoor activities
• Excellent communication, problem-solving and guest service skills
• Strong understanding of safety systems, risk assessments and emergency response
• Tertiary qualification in Outdoor Education
• Senior First Aid (Wilderness First Aid desirable), Working With Children Check, Driver’s Licence (Manual and HR an advantage)
