What You’ll Be Doing
No two days are exactly the same. You’ll be involved in a range of catering and guest service tasks including:
- Preparing and servicing meals for groups and visitors
- Delivering buffet, table and drink service
- Catering for dietary requirements and special meals
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe kitchen environment
- Completing food safety and kitchen records
- Supporting apprentices and other catering team members
- Assisting with housekeeping and event set up/pack down when required
- Responding to guest enquires
- Working closely with the wider catering and housekeeping team
About You
You might come from hospitality, catering, camp kitchens, events or food service – what matters most is your attitude and reliability.
- Experience catering for large groups or camps
- Knowledge of special dietary or allergy management
- Enjoys working as part of a team
- Has a positive, can do approach
- Is organised and able to follow safety procedures
- Is happy to jump in and help wherever needed
- Enjoys making guests feel welcome and looked after
Requirements:
- Experience in food preparation or meal service
- Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Safe Food Handling Certificate (Desirable)
- Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (Desirable)
- RSA (Desirable)
We’re looking for someone who can work at least 3 days per week, with flexibility across weekdays and weekends.
