About the Role
As a Registered Nurse – Community Care, you will take the lead in delivering and overseeing in-home nursing services under the Support at Home Program and the National Disability Insurance Scheme.
This varied role combines hands-on care with leadership and clinical governance responsibilities. You will:
- Deliver high-quality in-home nursing care
- Conduct comprehensive client assessments
- Develop and implement individualised care plans, including for complex clients
- Provide clinical advice and support incident response
- Contribute to policy and procedure development
- Lead, mentor and support Enrolled Nurses across your region
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
- Bachelor of Nursing
- Minimum 5 years post-registration experience
- Current AHPRA registration
- Current QLD C Class Driver’s Licence
Desirable:
- Experience in community or aged care nursing (3+ years preferred)
You will also bring:
- Strong clinical assessment and care planning skills
- Confidence managing complex client needs
- High-level written communication and reporting skills
- Ability to build effective relationships with a range of stakeholders
