About the Role

This is an opportunity to step into a meaningful Asset Manager role where your work directly supports the mission and sustainability of a values led organisation.

You’ll be responsible for overseeing and optimising a diverse asset base, ensuring resources are used effectively, risks are managed, and long-term value is realised. Working closely with stakeholders across the organisation, you will embed strong asset management practices that support both operational needs and strategic priorities.

Key Responsibilities

You will:

  • Develop and implement asset management strategies aligned to organisational goals
  • Monitor asset performance and drive improvements in utilisation and value
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify risks and opportunities
  • Partner with teams across the organisation to embed consistent asset practices
  • Prepare clear, insightful reports and presentations for leadership and stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and best practice frameworks
  • Support and educate staff to build capability in asset management processes and tools

About You

You’re analytical, organised and purpose-driven, with a natural ability to build relationships and translate data into meaningful insights.

You will bring:

  • A degree in finance, business, or a related discipline
  • Around 2+ years’ experience in asset management or a related field
  • Strong analytical capability with confidence interpreting financial and performance data
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage diverse stakeholders
  • Experience with asset management systems and Microsoft Office
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
  • An understanding of (or interest in) the not-for-profit or charity sector
  • Familiarity with Australian regulatory and compliance requirements (desirable)
