About the Role
This is an opportunity to step into a meaningful Asset Manager role where your work directly supports the mission and sustainability of a values led organisation.
You’ll be responsible for overseeing and optimising a diverse asset base, ensuring resources are used effectively, risks are managed, and long-term value is realised. Working closely with stakeholders across the organisation, you will embed strong asset management practices that support both operational needs and strategic priorities.
Key Responsibilities
You will:
- Develop and implement asset management strategies aligned to organisational goals
- Monitor asset performance and drive improvements in utilisation and value
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify risks and opportunities
- Partner with teams across the organisation to embed consistent asset practices
- Prepare clear, insightful reports and presentations for leadership and stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and best practice frameworks
- Support and educate staff to build capability in asset management processes and tools
About You
You’re analytical, organised and purpose-driven, with a natural ability to build relationships and translate data into meaningful insights.
You will bring:
- A degree in finance, business, or a related discipline
- Around 2+ years’ experience in asset management or a related field
- Strong analytical capability with confidence interpreting financial and performance data
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage diverse stakeholders
- Experience with asset management systems and Microsoft Office
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- An understanding of (or interest in) the not-for-profit or charity sector
- Familiarity with Australian regulatory and compliance requirements (desirable)
