At Carinya Lodge our journey began with a noble mission: to provide homes for widows of the war. Over the years, we’ve transformed into a registered Not-for-Profit Organisation and Charity, who own and manage a 60 Bed Residential Aged Care Facility and Retirement Village dedicated to serving our community.

Summary:

Reporting to the Co-CEO, Clinical Services, the Quality Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance within the Aged Care industry. Based in Korumburra, Victoria, this permanent full-time position is essential for maintaining regulatory standards and enhancing resident care. The successful candidate will collaborate with various teams to implement quality improvement initiatives and ensure adherence to best practices. The Quality Coordinator will act as delegate to the Care Manager in their absence.

  • Audit, Quality Improvement and Accreditation
  • Clinical Systems and Documentation
  • Data, Reporting and Performance Monitoring

Key Result Areas:

Essential:

  • Registered Nurse (AHPRA)
  • Experience in aged care clinical governance, quality, or coordination roles

Demonstrated understanding of:

  • Aged Care Quality Standards
  • Aged Care Act 2024
  • Clinical risk and audit processes
  • High-level written, analytical, and reporting skills
  • Strong alignment with the values and ethos of Carinya Lodge

Desirable:

  • Post-graduate qualification in quality, governance, or clinical leadership
  • Experience supporting accreditation or provider registration
  • Audit and data analysis experience
