  • Medication Review & Prescribing: Assess ADHD medication requests for clinical appropriateness and safety, prescribing in line with NICE guidelines and the CARE ADHD formulary. Escalate complex or high-risk cases as needed.
  • Treatment Support: Provide clinical support during both titration and maintenance phases. Monitor for adverse effects, respond to queries, and conduct treatment reviews with personalised recommendations.

  • Prescription Management: Issue ongoing prescriptions for patients under CARE ADHD, including those without shared care agreements, ensuring alignment with treatment plans and current guidance.
  • Shared Care Coordination: Support preparation and submission of shared care requests to GPs, track responses, and assist in reaching agreements to ensure continuous medication access.
  • Clinical Development: Stay current with ADHD research and best practices, applying new insights to improve assessments, prescribing, and patient care.

• Clinical Inbox: Responding to medication-related queries from patients, carers, and clinicians, and offering clear, evidence-based advice.

• Triage: Reviewing and prioritising medication requests to ensure they are clinically safe and appropriate. The structure of the day depends on the current rotation but typically includes a mix of patient-facing work, internal clinical queries, and coordination with GPs or other teams.

In return we offer:

  • Competitive salary
  • 33 days holiday (includes UK public holidays)
  • Team get-togethers
