Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct thorough credit analysis and risk assessment for potential SME borrowers.
• Support the Managing Director & Head of Loan Origination in developing the SME portfolio, including identifying strategic business opportunities and new relationships.
• Manage the borrower pipeline for loan origination, ensuring timely and accurate credit decisions.
• Present regular updates on the loan origination portfolio and pipeline to the executive team.
• Ensure all loan security is appropriately documented and in order.
Qualifications:
• 5 – 10 years’ experience in consumer and business lending or a related field.
• Experience in SME lending or SME business management, with a proven ability to build and maintain valuable relationships in this sector.
• Proven ability to manage the credit and assessment process.
• Experience in presenting data analysis to management.
• Undergraduate degree considered an advantage; postgraduate qualifications in credit analysis will be valuable.
