About Us

Cancer Trials Australia (CTA) is a not-for-profit member-based organisation consisting of 33 clinical sites and 3 medical research institutes across Australia and New Zealand. We support the administration and management of clinical trials across both metropolitan and regional hospitals. We work in close partnership with clinical research sites, Sponsors and Contract Research Organisations to ensure patients can gain access to appropriate clinical trials as quickly as possible. About the Role

Due to continued growth, a new position has been created in CTA’s Finance team for an Accounts Receivable Officer.

As an Accounts Receivable Officer, you will join an established and dedicated team of professionals to support the finance function of the business. The role requires you to undertake activities including, but not limited to:

  • Sales invoicing
  • Debtor management
  • Reconciling transactions with those reported by our Clinical Trial Management System
  • General accounting services including bank reconciliations

About You

You will demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills to nurture positive ongoing relationships with internaland external stakeholders, whilst maintaining a professional approachin all activities.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bookkeeping Certificate/Diploma in Accounting/ Bachelor of Accounting (can be working towards completion) or a minimum of 2 years’ relevant work experience.
  • Advanced Excel skills including the ability to filter and manipulate large volumes of data in a spreadsheet whilst maintaining quality control.
  • An ability to balance the need for efficiency with excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Excellent communication, customer relations and time-management skills.
  • The ability to participate in and contribute to a team environment.
  • Previous experience working in a Medical or Clinical Research organisation is highly desirable.
  • Previous experience with MYOB Advanced is highly desirable.
