Membership Consultant – Stellar Canberra (Multiple Positions)

We are seeking an energetic, focused and customer-oriented person to join our team as a casual Membership Consultant at Stellar Canberra.

With two 24/7 gyms including Anytime Fitness, a wide variety of group exercise classes, a heated indoor pool, health café and more, Stellar Canberra is the perfect opportunity to gain valuable sales experience and kickstart your career in the fitness industry.

The successful candidate will have a passion for health and wellness and engaging with prospects and members. They will be committed to exceptional customer service and a strong team player. They will work proactively to achieve sales targets, be intrinsically motivated and have a positive, can-do attitude.

Key responsibilities:

• New memberships – manage and achieve every step of the sales process to grow the club member base.

• Work closely with the Heath & Wellness Operations Manager to achieve the clubs daily, weekly and monthly sales targets and operational goals.

• Assist with prospect generation and conversion, as well as servicing new members.

• Assist to drive Stellar Canberra marketing and advertising campaigns.

• Create a fun, friendly and customer-focused environment where staff love to work and members feel valued and heard.

• Assist with café operations including coffee and food and beverage sales (training provided).

• Promotion of Stellar Canberra club within the local community.

Successful candidate will:

• Preferably have past sales and/or cafe experience, not necessarily in the fitness industry.

• Be self-motivated, and willing to listen and learn to grow professionally and personally.

• Be proactive – offer opinions, feedback and new ideas in consultation with management and peers.

• Be passionate about health and wellness with a genuine passion for engaging with, and helping, others.

Experience/Knowledge/Qualification:

• Certificate III or IV (desirable but not essential)

• First Aid/CPR certificate

• Working with Vulnerable People

Multiple Casual Positions available

Flexible hours and Saturday shifts may be required for this role.
