Description

Campbell Property Group (CPG), one of Australia’s leading residential construction and property development companies, is looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our team at our Norwest Head Office.

 

As the Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading the successful delivery of complex, high-value initiatives aligned to our organisational strategy.

 

Your role will be pivotal in ensuring projects are delivered within agreed scope, time, cost, quality, risk and benefit tolerances, while maintaining strong governance, stakeholder engagement and alignment to recognised project management best practices utilising multiple delivery approaches.

 

What you will do?

  • Ensuring adherence to enterprise methodologies and processes
  • Provide input to develop and improve such methodologies and processes to meet best practice and ensure regulatory and legal compliance of all work on the project
  • Define the scope to ensure outcomes and expected benefits are clearly articulated and that agreed work is aligned to the strategy
  • Translate business needs into a clear and measurable program of work which is aligned to the broader strategy
  • Influence and gain agreement of scope from stakeholders
  • Challenge and influence the sponsor and or stakeholders as required to enable the achievement of project deliverables and benefits
  • Implement mitigation strategies and escalate as required
  • Maintain transparency of delivery risks
  • Lead end-to-end delivery across the full project lifecycle (initiate, plan, deliver, close).
  • Define and manage scope, schedule, cost, quality, and resources
  • Monitor and report to the Sponsor/Steering Committee/Board on status of financials, risks, issues and progress towards milestones and deliverables
  • Work with the business to deliver cost estimates for submissions for funding approval
  • Manage partner/vendor costs related to delivery to improve cost predictability and ensure the project delivers within agreed cost
  • Engage, inform, influence and negotiate with all stakeholders to ensure involvement and commitment throughout the project
  • Facilitate workshops and governance forums
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and resolve issues
  • Act as a day-to-day contact point with partners and vendors to deliver solutions for the project
  • Developing and maintaining a resource plan
  • Establishing clear delegated authority, accountabilities and performance management structures

 

About you?

We are looking for someone with:

  • Demonstrated experience delivering complex projects or programs within a large, complex multi-site business. Construction Industry would be highly desirable
  • Experience operating within formal governance frameworks and reporting to executive or board level stakeholders
  • Experience managing risks, issues and dependencies in complex delivery environments
  • Experience working with cross functional teams including business, technology and external vendors
  • Experience delivering measurable business outcomes and benefits
  • Strong knowledge of project management frameworks (e.g. PRINCE2, PMBOK, Agile or equivalent)
  • Understanding of technology environments including systems, integrations, data flows and digital solutions and their interaction with operations
  • Understanding of financial management, budgeting and business case development.
  • Knowledge of organisational change management principles
  • Strong leadership capability with the ability to motivate and guide teams
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
  • Proactive and outcomes focused with a strong sense of accountability
  • Resilient and adaptable in complex and changing environments
  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking capability
  • Collaborative approach with the ability to build trust and credibility across all levels.
