Clarendon Homes, part of Campbell Property Group (CPG) — one of Australia’s leading residential construction and property development companies — is seeking an experienced and detail-focused Draftsperson to join our collaborative team in Norwest, NSW.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for preparing accurate drawings and documentation that support the delivery of compliant, cost-effective, and buildable home designs.
You’ll work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure every plan meets design intent, compliance standards, and tender requirements.
What you’ll do:
- Prepare and deliver tender and preliminary drawings that align with design briefs, NCC, and developer guidelines
- Ensure all documentation meets compliance, buildability, and customer requirements
- Review drawings for accuracy and consistency before issue
- Liaise with internal teams including Sales, Estimating, Design, and Construction to coordinate information for tenders
- Identify and resolve potential design or compliance issues early in the process
- Maintain accurate electronic records of all plans and revisions in line with version control standards
- Contribute to ongoing process improvements to enhance drafting efficiency and accuracy
About you
- 3+ years’ experience in residential drafting within the volume home building industry
- Strong understanding of NCC, Basix, NatHERS, and DA/CDC requirements
- Proven experience preparing tender or preliminary documentation for residential projects
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (Revit experience highly regarded)
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high-quality, accurate documentation
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments
- Organised, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
