About the role
We are seeking motivated, Qualified Landscapers to join our team on the Northern Beaches, working within the Landscape Construction team. This is a great opportunity for an individual to work under an experienced Landscape Construction Manager and be part of a growing department in the company.
You will get the opportunity to be part of the planning and execution of the landscape construction projects, right through from initiation to completion.
Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Hardscape Construction, including:
- Patios (pavers, concrete, natural stone)
- Driveways and pathways
- Retaining walls
- Decks and pergolas
- Outdoor kitchens and BBQ areas
- Fire pits and fireplaces
- Water features (ponds, fountains, waterfalls)
Softscape Installation, including:
- Soil preparation and grading
- Turf installation
- Planting trees, shrubs, and garden beds
- Mulching and irrigation preparation
- Irrigation & Drainage
- Earthworks & Site Preparation
- Fencing & Structural Elements
- Outdoor Lighting
About you
We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills and the confidence to take initiative. You will be professional and can be friendly, approachable, and patient with our clients, as well as be able to take on a range of tasks.
You will have completed a qualification in Landscape Construction and have a strong technical knowledge of landscaping methods and materials, as well as a minimum of two years’ experience working in landscape construction.
You will be confident to mentor and coach our Landscape Apprentices and will be able to grow and develop their skills. You will be able to work autonomously as well as part of a team.
