We’re looking for a thoughtful, brand-aligned Production Manager to lead our end-to-end manufacturing journey at By Charlotte. This role plays a key part in bringing our collections to life; balancing timelines, quality, and cost with a calm, considered approach. With a deep appreciation for craftsmanship and detail, you’ll help ensure every piece reflects the care, intention, and beauty at the heart of our brand.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
This role blends operational rigour with a strong understanding of product and a commercial mindset. As a valued member of the senior team, you’ll lead with integrity and collaboration, upholding the By Charlotte spirit and cultural values in everything you do.
Other key responsibilities include:
- Owning the end-to-end Critical Path, driving alignment, integration, and delivery optimisation
- Setting clear expectations for deliverables, timelines, processes, and accountability
- Developing and managing production schedules aligned to demand forecasts and seasonal cycles
- Leading supplier and vendor management, building strong external manufacturing partnerships
- Monitoring supplier performance across cost, quality, and lead time KPIs
- Negotiating pricing and timelines to optimise margins and cash flow
- Building and scaling a robust, future-ready supplier network
- Implementing and enforcing quality control standards to ensure consistency and craftsmanship
- Overseeing sustainability initiatives, including certification processes and traceability compliance
- Partnering cross-functionally (marketing, e-commerce, customer care) to ensure accurate product delivery and messaging
- Driving continuous improvement through process optimisation and scalable systems
- Leading, developing, and managing production teams while ensuring safety, compliance, and risk mitigation

The ideal candidate will also have:
- 5+ years’ experience in production or operations management, preferably within jewellery, fashion accessories, or luxury goods
- Proven experience managing offshore and/or local suppliers
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex production schedules and meet tight deadlines
- Commercial acumen with experience in cost control and margin optimisation
- Proficiency in production planning systems and excel
- High attention to detail and quality standards
