Buttrose Earthmovers, a leading name in the construction industry, is seeking a skilled and experienced Diesel Mechanic with a preference for Caterpillar equipment expertise.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues.
- Perform repairs and replacements on faulty components.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical problems efficiently and effectively.
- Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, including parts used and repairs made.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with supervisors and clients.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic, with a focus on Caterpillar machinery.
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing complex mechanical issues.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong work ethic and commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- Valid driver’s license.
