About the Role

Burton Demolition is seeking a motivated and organised Variations & Estimating Coordinator (Mechanical Variation) to support our growing operations team.

This is a fast-paced role where you will work closely with clients, site supervisors, estimators, and office staff to help manage project changes, prepare variation pricing, and keep projects moving smoothly.

No two days are the same. You will be coordinating live project updates, communicating with customers, tracking costs, and helping ensure variation approvals are completed efficiently and accurately.

This role suits someone with strong communication and organisational skills who enjoys working in a busy environment and can confidently manage multiple tasks at once.

Experience in construction, trades, scheduling, estimating support, project coordination, customer service, or operations administration will be highly regarded.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate project variations and change requests
  • Prepare variation quotes, supporting documents, and project updates
  • Communicate with clients regarding project changes, pricing, and approvals
  • Work closely with site supervisors and operational teams to gather information
  • Assist with project costing including labour, plant, disposal, cartage, and materials
  • Maintain accurate records, spreadsheets, and CRM updates
  • Liaise with subcontractors, councils, engineers, and internal teams as required
  • Help keep projects organised, compliant, and moving efficiently

About You

You are organised, proactive, and confident communicating with both customers and operational teams.

You enjoy problem-solving, can manage competing priorities, and are comfortable working in a fast-moving environment where project details can change quickly.

You will bring:

  • Good attention to detail and numerical accuracy
  • Ability to stay organised across multiple tasks
  • Confidence using Microsoft Excel and computer systems

Experience with Zoho CRM, estimating, construction administration, or project coordination is advantageous.
