Due to continued growth, we are seeking an organised and proactive Internal Recruiter & Workforce Coordinator to join our team.
This hands-on role combines blue collar recruitment, workforce scheduling and labour coordination across multiple operational projects and crews. Working closely with supervisors and field staff, you will help ensure labour resources are effectively planned and allocated to meet operational requirements.
This role suits someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can adapt quickly to changing priorities and enjoys balancing people, planning and operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end blue collar recruitment activities
- Screen candidates and coordinate interviews, onboarding and inductions
- Build and maintain a strong labour pipeline
- Coordinate daily and weekly workforce scheduling across multiple teams and crews
- Allocate labour in line with operational requirements
- Coordinate workforce and roster changes, including occasional evening and weekend communication to support business requirements.
- Liaise closely with HR Manager, supervisors and managers regarding labour needs
- Assist the Compliance Team to ensure employee licences, training and compliance records are maintained
- Support onboarding, mobilisation and workforce documentation
- Assist with timesheet and payroll coordination where required
- Maintain regular communication with field staff to support engagement and retention
What You’ll Bring
- Experience in blue collar recruitment, workforce planning, labour coordination or scheduling
- Experience within demolition, construction, civil, logistics, transport or industrial environments highly regarded
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to manage changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- High attention to detail and a proactive approach
- Confidence working with Microsoft Office and workforce/HR systems
- A proactive, solutions-focused and team-oriented approach
- Flexibility to support operational roster changes when required.
