Building Certifier

Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Building Certifier to join our team. As a Building Certifier, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with building codes, regulations, and standards across all industries. Your expertise will be crucial in assessing and approving building plans, conducting inspections, and issuing certificates of compliance. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of building codes and regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Review and assess building plans, specifications, and documentation to ensure compliance with relevant codes, regulations, and standards.
• Conduct thorough inspections of construction sites at various stages to verify compliance with approved plans and applicable regulations.
• Identify and report any deviations or non-compliance issues, providing recommendations for corrective actions.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to address compliance concerns and provide guidance on building regulations.
• Issue certificates of compliance and occupancy permits upon successful completion of inspections and verification of compliance.
• Stay updated on changes in building codes, regulations, and industry best practices to ensure accurate and up-to-date certification processes.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of all inspections, certifications, and related activities.

Qualifications:

• Must be a Level 3, 2, 1 Building Certifier.
• Proven experience as a Building Certifier.
• In-depth knowledge of building codes, regulations, and standards.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency in relevant software applications and tools.
